(V.70:17) (i.e. the Hell will call out): "[O Kafir (O disbeliever in Allâh, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, Day of Resurrection and in Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments), O Mushrik (O polytheist, disbeliever in the Oneness of Allâh).

(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadith No.481). * i.e., whoever protects his tongue from illegal talk like telling lies, or backbiting, etc., and his mouth from eating and drinking of forbidden illegal things, etc., and his private parts from illegal sexual acts.

  30. 30

Famanib taghaa waraaa'a zaalika fa ulaaa'ika humul 'aadoon

But whosoever seeks beyond that, then it is those who are trespassers.[5]

I will narrate to you a Hadith I heard from Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم and none other than I will tell of it. I heard Allâh’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم saying, "From among the portents of the Hour are the following: Religious knowledge will be taken away; General ignorance (in religious matters) will increase; illegal sexual intercourse will prevail; Drinking of alcoholic drinks will be very common; Men will decrease in number, and women will increase in number, so much so that fifty women will be looked after by one man."

Famaa lil lazeena kafaroo qibalaka muhti'een

So what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten to listen from you [O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم), in order to belie you and to mock at you, and at Allâh’s Book (this Qur’ân)].

  37. 37

'Anil yameeni wa 'anish shimaali 'izeen

Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of Delight?

  39. 39

Kallaaa innaa khalaq nahum mimmaa ya'lamoon

No, that is not like that! Verily, We have created them out of that which they know!

  40. 40

Falaaa uqsimu bi Rabbil mashaariqi wal maghaaribi innaa laqaadiroon

So I swear by the Lord of all the [three hundred and sixty-five (365)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able

  41. 41

'Alaaa an nubaddila khairam minhum wa maa Nahnu bimasbooqeen

To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun.

  42. 42

Fazarhum yakhoodoo wa yal'aboo hattaa yulaaqoo yaw mahumul lazee yoo'adoon

So leave them to plunge in vain talk[1] and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised -

(V.70:42) See the footnote of (V.4:5).

  43. 43

Yawma yakhrujoona minal ajdaasi siraa'an ka anna hum ilaa nusubiny yoofidoon

The Day when they will come out of the graves quickly as racing to a goal,

  44. 44

Khaashi'atan absaaruhum tarhaquhum zillah; zaalikal yawmul lazee kaanoo yoo'adoon

With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised!
