سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ
Transliteration
Sami'allahu liman hamidah
Translation
Allah hears those who praise Him. (The Imam says this)
Supplications When Rising from Ruku
رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ ، حَمْداً كَثِيراً طَيِّباً مُبَارَكاً فِيهِ
Transliteration
Rabbana wa lakal-hamd, hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih
Translation
Our Lord, to You belongs all praise, abundant, pure, and blessed praise.
مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَمِلْءَ الأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ، وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ ، أَهْلَ الثَّنَاءِ وَالْمَجْدِ ، أَحَقُّ مَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ ، وَكُلُّنَا لَكَ عَبْدٌ ، اللَّهُمَّ لاَ مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ ، وَلاَ مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ ، وَلاَ يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ
Transliteration
Mil'as-samawati wa mil'al-ardi wa ma baynahuma, wa mil'a ma shi'ta min shay'in ba'd, ahlath-thana'i wal-majd, ahaqqu ma qalal-'abd, wa kulluna laka 'abd, Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayt, wa la mu'tiya lima mana't, wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd
Translation
Filling the heavens, filling the earth, and filling whatever else You will. You are worthy of praise and glory, the truest thing a servant can say, and we are all Your servants. O Allah, there is none who can withhold what You have given, and none can give what You have withheld, and no wealth or fortune can benefit its possessor against You.
